Your enjoyable dental experience depends on your comfort and safety. Drs. McCullough and Stevens and their team utilize the latest technological advances in dental equipment and techniques to ensure your satisfaction with your visit and your continued excellent health.

Digital X-rays (Radiographs)

Digital X-rays are a technological advancement that results in less exposure to radiation for our patients and an almost instantaneous picture for our dentists. You’ll appreciate a more comfortable visit, with less waiting and quicker treatment.

Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera lets you see inside your mouth during both treatment planning and dental procedures. Our intraoral camera displays your teeth on a video screen, allowing the doctors at Floss Family Dentistry to walk you through your proposed treatment. The use of this camera allows us to work with you as a team to meet your dental care goals. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and to discuss your treatment options with you. We want you to picture how your appearance will improve with dental care, giving you all the more reason to smile.

Digital Photography

Digital photography gives Dr. McCullough and Dr. Stevens instant images to use for cosmetic imaging or to keep on file in order to track your progress. Digital images can be electronically saved and are more efficient than traditional photographs that show less detail and that must be taken off-site for development.

E-Claims

Our office utilizes electronic claims processing. This means that rather than sending your dental claim through the mail, it is sent electronically to your insurance company with the click of the button. By electronically filing your claim, information is submitted more efficiently and with fewer errors. This benefits our patients because the turn-around time on claims is faster, and fewer claims are returned or denied. We are happy to submit your dental claims to your insurance company on your behalf.

Paperless Charting

Our office is a completely digital (paperless) dental office. This means that all X-rays and charting are made and recorded with the aid of the computer. This technology allows us to electronically maintain your dental records, and reduces the unnecessary paperwork used with traditional paper charting. Traditional paper charting is difficult to keep standardized from doctor to hygienist to assistant. Even handwriting differences and coding make the charts look different. The computer eliminates this problem by using consistent charting methods that are accurate and precise, making it easy to read your dental chart and to see up-to-date information. Digital charting standardizes the charting process so it is clear and easy to understand, enabling us to provide the most accurate and precise care possible to our patients. When needed, this method also allows us to quickly and securely share information with your other health care providers.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry can correct crooked teeth; spaces between your teeth; stained or discolored teeth; chipped, broken or missing teeth and “gummy” smiles.
