Meet The Dentists

Suzie McCullough, DMD

Dr. McCullough grew up in Birmingham and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Birmingham Southern College. She received her dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2004 and has been practicing with Dr. Stevens ever since. Dr. McCullough is a member of the Birmingham District Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She also holds a certificate from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for BOTOX® and dermal filler administration. The ability to make patients feel better about themselves is one of the reasons Dr. McCullough chose dentistry. She enjoys customizing treatment for each patient so that they can enjoy a healthy, beautiful mouth and face. Dr. McCullough is active in the community, volunteering her time for fundraising and charity organizations. She is a member at the Cathedral Church of the Advent. She is married to John and together they have four children: Carlisle, Harris, Watkins, and Millie.

Christy Stevens, DMD

Dr. Stevens grew up in Birmingham and comes from a family of dentists. Her father, uncle, and cousin all practice dentistry, so the profession is truly in her genes. She graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in European history and is a 2002 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Dr. Stevens is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and the Birmingham District Dental Society. She also holds a certificate from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for BOTOX® administration. Dr. Stevens enjoys making patients feel comfortable about their treatment and helping them understand their treatment choices, given all the latest technology in dentistry. Currently, she serves on the UAB School of Dentistry Leadership Council in addition to other community service organizations. Dr. Stevens is married to David, and they have two girls, Alice and Jennie Ruth, who keep her very busy when she is not at her office.
